Discover Ivory Coast
Ivory Coast is a country in West Africa, bordered to the north by Mali and Burkina Faso, to the west by Liberia and Guinea, to the east by Ghana and to the south by the Atlantic Ocean. The political and administrative capital of Ivory Coast is Yamoussoukro and its main economic centre is Abidjan.
With a surface area of 322,462 km2, Ivory Coast is a country with a strong economic and tourist appeal. Renowned for the quality of its hospitality towards people and businesses, Côte d'Ivoire offers several reasons to invest there.
Ivory Coast is the largest economy in French-speaking West Africa. The country has seen rapid economic growth for almost a decade. And its capital, Yamoussoukro, is one of the largest and most modern cities in West Africa.
Inherited from the two decades of the "Ivorian miracle", Ivory Coast has a relatively well-developed road infrastructure, the second largest port in West Africa and a modern airport with a national airline that services all major capitals in the region.
Ivory Coast is a favourite destination for foreign investment in the region.
As the world's largest producer of cocoa and cashew nuts, Ivory Coast is blessed with abundant natural resources and high fertility. Ivory Coast is also a major producer of gold, manganese, petroleum and gas, as well as other mineral resources.

Ivory Coast is a country in full economic and social expansion that is opening its arms wide.
A national development plan has been drawn up for the period 2016-2020 which aims to make private investment a driver of economic growth in the country.
The Ivorian government has set up a number of measures to promote foreign investment such as the introduction of a new Investment Code; the establishment of a one-stop shop for business creation or the creation of an online filing system with the Commercial Court.
