Presentation

The International Migration Solidarity Organisations Forum (FORIM) is a national platform that brings together networks, federations and groupings of International Migration Solidarity Organisations (OSIM), involved in integration actions here and in development actions in the countries of origin.

FORIM represents about 1000 associations working in Sub-Saharan Africa, Maghreb, South East Asia, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.  Created in March 2002 with the support of the French public authorities, it bears witness to the desire of its members to join forces with all the components of French civil society, in order to promote the integration of populations from international migrations, to strengthen exchanges between France and the countries of origin and to contribute to the development of their region of origin.

It shows a specific image of the community life of people of immigrant origin and highlights the positive aspects of the double belonging by promoting actions carried out in France around integration, cultural exchange and development actions towards the countries of origin.

FORIM, through its PRA/OSIM programme (Support Programme for International Solidarity Organisations from the Diaspora), offers technical and financial support to associations wishing to develop projects promoting entrepreneurship in Africa. The programme supports, among other things, incubator projects, training and support for the creation of start-ups exclusively for vulnerable groups, promoting their professional reintegration, their financial autonomy and the social and economic growth of the intervention zone.

Co-funding ranging from €15,000 for micro-projects to €100,000 for meso-projects Technical and financial support via its
