Presentation
The overall objective of the Albideya Association is to build a cultural interface structure on both shores of the Mediterranean, respecting each culture, in order to:
- better represent the mutual interests of both shores;
- constitute a privileged communication channel to keep in constant contact;
- strengthen their cohesive elements and reduce contrasting elements.
This same channel can be used to promote the demands of the African people in Europe so that they can focus and amplify their effectiveness. Albideya wishes to become a bridge between peoples and cultures, with particular attention to the needs of the African diaspora in Europe and the African people, in order to promote economic development and social-cultural integration. As such, the association also participates in :
- The organisation of conferences, economic forums, debates, seminars;
- The organisation of events for the projection of audiovisual material and the production of documents;
- The organisation of concerts, conferences and courses of various types;
- The preparation of studies and research;
- The organisation of intercultural exchange;
- The organisation of visits to the most important places in Tunisia and Maghreb with a view to promoting the cultural and tourist value.
The Albideya Association works directly with the diaspora to promote the dissemination of Mediterranean culture, and especially expand the knowledge of Tunisian and Maghreb culture in general, in all its forms: through exchange and contact between people, organisations and associations of the diaspora.
Also to consolidate and develop international cooperation and investment to/from Tunisia, Maghreb, MENA regions and Africa. It offers meeting places and aggregation of cultural and social-economic interests that facilitate the integration of all social-cultural, economic, financial and commercial differences, at all levels and in all fields, between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
