Presentation

Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) is a range of impact funds entirely dedicated to the African continent. Founded in 2002 by Patrice Hoppenot and headed by Jean-Michel Severino since 2011, I&P is a pioneer in private equity in Africa. I&P has developed three complementary lines of business to provide the needed financing and skills to SMEs, the "missing link" in African economies.

With €210 million under management, I&P has supported 170 SMEs in 15 African countries, providing long-term financing (between €30,000 and €1.5 million) as well as strategic, managerial and technical support. As a player in impact investing, I&P's mission is to maximise its social impact through its investments and contribute to the development of the continent.

The I&P team is made up of nearly one hundred experienced and committed employees, based in Paris and in 10 African offices (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Uganda). It is also involved in seven African investment firms (Sinergi, Sinergi Burkina, Comoé Capital, Miarakap, Inua Capital, Zira Capital and Teranga Capital).
