Centre in Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI) is a public establishment of administrative nature. It is the one-stop shop for investment in Côte d'Ivoire, coordinating and rationalising all government initiatives and actions in the field of investment promotion and private sector development. CEPICI's missions are cross-cutting, giving it a role dedicated to supporting the private sector, acting as an interface between the private sector and the State and/or supporting the search for financing, in order to increase private investment in Côte d'Ivoire. To this end, CEPICI is responsible for
Ensuring, through its One-Stop-Shop for Investors, notably :
· Facilitated administrative formalities relating to the creation, operation, transmission or extension of enterprises. Administrations and organisations concerned by these formalities are, for this purpose, grouped within CEPICI;
· Contribution to the reduction of costs and delays relating to these formalities;
· Reception and examination of investors' requests for benefiting from Investment Code advantages;
· Reception and examination of investors' requests for obtaining land for industrial use;
· Examination, delivery and withdrawal of investment approvals;
Ensuring the promotion and attraction of national and foreign direct investments in Côte d'Ivoire, through, in particular:
· the organisation, both in Côte d'Ivoire and abroad, of fairs and economic promotion events;
· the promotion of Public-Private Partnership with national and foreign investors;
· the search for and identification of investors and the development of partnerships;
· participation in the promotion of investments in Côte d'Ivoire in relation with the embassies and consulates of Côte d'Ivoire abroad;
· the undertaking of communication and marketing actions of Côte d'Ivoire as a destination for investment;
· the bringing together of foreign investors with the promoters of small and medium enterprises and small and medium national industries to favour the development of the latter;
· the setting up of a mechanism to attract investments from the diaspora;
· the creation and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation system for all investments that have benefited from Investment Code advantages;
· to ensure in general, in relation with the administrations and public and private organisations concerned, the implementation of the Investment Code provisions;
· to contribute to all actions that concur to an enhanced business environment and to make proposals to the Government;
To contribute to implementing the programmes of the Government and development partners in favour of the private sector in Côte d'Ivoire;
To be a platform for exchange and consultation between public and private sectors, in order to initiate and formulate proposals to the Government to address private sector concerns.
CEPICI also offers a specific support mechanism to young promoters with business projects in the acceleration and growth stage.
Entrepreneurs can benefit from targeted support that can be technical, methodological, relational (networking and development of business partnerships), financial or commercial. The objective of this mechanism is to gradually introduce promoters into the community of national economic operators.
CEPICI is also part of the International Network of French-speaking Investment Promotion Agencies (RIAFPI).

Innovative nature of the project:
either by the technical process used, the production method or the marketing method of the products;
Project must enable the creation of added value and jobs, while respecting the environmental and social rules in force in Côte d'Ivoire;
Project leader(s) must have the skills or operational capacities to carry out their project;
Project must be implemented in Côte d'Ivoire.
Eligibility criteria for beneficiaries:
-Project leaders must be resident in Côte d'Ivoire or belong to the Ivorian and African diaspora;
-Any youth group or society is eligible;
-Applications from women entrepreneurs and people with reduced mobility or disabilities are strongly encouraged.
All sectors of activity eligible under the Investment Code in force in Côte d'Ivoire are eligible for CEPICI's support offers: agribusiness (agriculture, agro-industry, agro-tech), information and communication technologies, renewable energies, industry, transport, health, tourism and hotels.
The following sectors are excluded: trade (except for large shopping centres), non-industrial construction, banking and finance; liberal professions.
