The support mechanism for youth entrepreneurship in Cameroon Promotion of entrepreneurship among young people, implemented by APME, aims to encourage the emergence of vocations among young Cameroonians, to create confidence among young people with business projects and to position entrepreneurship as an alternative to salaried employment.
The programme is implemented in collaboration with national education and vocational training systems and with technical and financial support from UNCTAD.
It focuses on three hands-on working methods: "4 hours", "BIR-72" and "5-day Vision".
Promotion of entrepreneurship among young people targets the support of 10,000 young Cameroonian project holders per year, all referential types combined.
The offer is also accessible to young project holders from the diaspora.
