Campack-Q : Cameroon Packaging and Quality

The CAMPACK-Q: Cameroon Packaging and Quality programme aims to support the marketing and commercial visibility of local products in the agribusiness sector on the market. Promoters of SMEs and VSEs can use the support of the programme to:

• Adopt viral marketing (use of social networks to give visibility to products);
• Influence consumption rates through conditioning;
• Develop and disseminate presentation media for the structure or its production;
• Analyse market returns; Provide competitive intelligence.

In addition to the marketing aspect, CAMPACK-Q focuses on the development of the agribusiness industry and aims to support SMEs with high potential in the sector in growing their business and creating jobs through :  

• The promotion of exports and the improvement of quality and traceability;
• The promotion of sales and the promotion of the "Made in Cameroon" label.

The CAMPACK-Q mechanism is structured in 5 different components:  

• Support for product quality operations (HACCP-BPF-BPH-ISO 22000-Traceability or ISO 8402-OHSAS 18001 or occupational health and safety management system - ISO 14001 or environmental management system);
• Support for packaging/design operations;
• Support for product visibility Support for structuring and modernising the local packaging industry;
• Project coordination and monitoring.

After three years of implementation, CAMPACK-Q has already benefited 500 businesses.
